Tsavo East National Park is Kenya’s largest, home to the “red elephants of Tsavo,” vast lava flows, and endless savannah stretching out toward the horizon. The park’s landscape, dotted with baobabs, rocky outcrops, and seasonal rivers offer a living testament to Africa’s raw beauty.

Getting Here

Voi Wildlife Lodge is conveniently located near Tsavo East National Park, making it easy to reach whether you travel by road, rail or air.
For guests who prefer to self-drive, the lodge is approximately 340 km from Nairobi and 165 km from Mombasa. We are located just 5 km from the Nairobi–Mombasa highway, offering easy access while remaining comfortably removed from the bustle of the main road.

The Madaraka Express SGR offers a convenient and comfortable way to travel to Voi from Nairobi or Mombasa. Guests can alight at Voi Terminus, with transfers to and from Voi Wildlife Lodge available on request. For an elevated journey, guests can also explore the Premium Class option available on selected Madaraka Express services.

Transfers between Voi SGR Terminus and Voi Wildlife Lodge can be arranged in advance, allowing you to move seamlessly from the train to your safari stay.
